Boss attacks: duocast Kaytlyn and Twig - Godspawn

“K-Kaytlyn! W-where are you,” Twig called out into the dark woods. They had been lured out here by the promise of new strange insects to study, but the jackalope was now lost. 

 

“Relax, Twig, I’m right here,” the young fennec answered as she emerged from behind a tree. “Come on, the bugs I saw aren’t far away now.” Kaytlyn motioned for the jackalope to follow.

 

“C-could you not run off again? I-its a bit spooky out here,” Twig requested as they started towards the sandy-furred fox. A hand on their elbow caused the entomologist to stop and turn to find another Kaytlyn standing there.

 

“Where are you going? That’s the wrong way,” the fox at their side insisted.

 

“Don’t listen to her; she’s not real,” the Kaytlyn by the tree yelled to Twig.

 

“W-what is happening,” the jackalope nervously stuttered as they started to back away but stopped when they bumped into something. Slowly turning around, they find yet another Kaytlyn standing there.

 

“Don’t listen to those two, they don’t know what they are talking about,” the new duplicate insists with a smile. Suddenly, dozens of Kaytlyns started emerging from the woods, declaring the others were liars and they were telling the truth.

 

“S-stay away,” Twig yelled as they ran mindlessly through the woods until they emerged from the edge of the woods.

 

“Why did you go in without me,” Kaytlyn asked as the fox walked up the trail. “We were going to hunt the bugs down together.” There was no response from Twig as they set a land speed record to the portal.
