Boss attacks: duo Kaytlyn and Drazlin -Godspawn

“Welcome to your training mission,” Kaytlyn greeted Drazlin as they entered the old decrepit mansion. While not typically where training missions took place, the fennec had wanted to learn about this New England place. Mostly to figure out if there was an Old England or a local that could explain the name.

 

“This place feels familiar somehow. Something doesn’t quite feel right,” Drazlin commented as the half-dragon kobold folded her wings to enter a doorway. 

 

“Welcome, guest,” a child laughs as she walks down a set of stairs that mainly had fallen apart. Ragged, unkempt hair fell about the girl’s face as she moved with an unnatural fluidity.

 

“Nope, I’ve read enough books,”  Kaytlyn yells as she pulls Brick Brick out of her purse. “I’m going to brick her.”

 

“Wait, maybe she needs our help,” Drazlin suggests as she grabs the young fox’s wrists. “Saving someone on my training mission would look good for my guild record, yes?”

 

As the child reached the last step, her body stretched and contorted in unnatural shapes. Her eyes elongated and blackened as her smile lengthened to show all of her yellow, chipped teeth. The left arm of the strange child erupted into a serrated mantis appendage.

 

“Can I brick her now,” Kaytlyn asked, more than a little grossed out by this transformation.

 

“Yeah, go get her, and I’ll back you up with some air power,” Drazlin nods, releasing the fennec’s wrist.
