A Song for Winter: Significant Other -Violet

    Violet was born under the harvest moon to Archdruid Regalius and Miran. Her brilliant purple eyes confirmed to her parents that the name they had chosen before her birth was correct. The young lioness was a lively baby born perfectly healthy in all regards. Soon after giving birth to Violet, Miran became gravely ill before falling into a coma. Regalius put his wife in an enchanted glade that would sustain her body until a cure for her ailments could be found. Thus Violet was raised by her father in the only way he knew to raise a child, as a warrior druid.

 

    Violet excelled in all aspects of the druidic arts. She easily manipulated the life energy of nature to heal wounds, grow plants, and weaponize the very planet against her opponents. In weapons training, Violet was a master student at the signature weapon of the Harvest Druids, the bladed staff. With seamless effort, Violet combined magic with her martial prowess to quickly outclass her peers. When she wasn’t being trained in magic or combat, Violet researched every obscure medical text she could get her hands on in a desperate attempt to find a way to bring her mom out of her coma. A quest that would continue to follow her for the rest of her life.

 

    At the age of nine was the first time Violet met William. It was a meet-cute in any sense of the word. The two were trying to beat the snot out of each other in a youth combat tournament. William entered in an attempt to win himself some druid candy while Violet entered to impress her father. Violet won the day of that faithful first meeting as her fighting style confused the young William. The next year William won and it went back and forth throughout the years. Violet looked forward to their bought each year as she had grown a little bit of a crush on the folf despite the fact that he was already betrothed to a silver-furred lynx.

 

    When the opportunity came up to venture into the portal network Violet took it. She began her journey in search of a cure for her mother. Despite numerous leads, none of them seemed to pan out. After several months of being sent from portal to portal, Violet found William injured on Castimeria. With the aid of the planet’s more than abundant nature energy she stitched his wounds shut and went to find a specific plant to finish healing him but he was gone when she came back. When next the two crossed paths it was on Eventide where the two teamed up to save William’s daughter, Jaina. Violet did the best she could to protect Jaina when William sent them through the portal to Pavia together. Jaina bonded with Violet while she kept the girl safe even after being captured by the Bloodfang. 

 

    Despite the invasion soon after by The Matriarch’s force into the multiverse, Violet fell in love with William. He had similar feelings for her and they started to see each other in secret. William admitted he felt guilty at first since his wife, Julia, hadn’t been gone for that long. After communing with the spirits Julia appeared before William and Violet to grant them her blessing. Soon after Violet became pregnant which overjoyed William to no end. Months later the two were wedded under a full moon. William has devoted any free time he can to try to find a cure for Violet’s mom.
