Looking as confident as ever, Hiisi walked to the cavern's opening - then, she whistled. Whistled so loud, clear, and sharp, that it was no wonder Caspian would've liked to strangle her right then and there.

It had been proven, time and time again, that his sensitive hearing was more of a curse than a blessing.

The ground shook. The crystals in and outside the cavern trembled against each other, creating a melodic cacophony of jingles and chimes. The Dinakian crossed her arms and scoffed.

She stared right into the eyes of the beast, that pummeled its way through the scenery like a supercharged underground drill - a drill that happened to hover very close to the ground. It didn't take much for it to reach the mountainside. Yet, instead of throwing itself against it like before with all its might, it halted right before Hiisi, and the shifter that cowered behind her like a child. The dragon opened its maw, and roared at the two Lilliputians. Hiisi growled under her breath

and then roared back. No matter how big this pool noodle was, it was not going to step on her toes.

Confused about the sudden uproar, the serpent fell silent. It lowered itself to the ground gently, like a falling leaf from a maple tree. Hiisi smiled at its widened, shocked expression.

"Alrighty, then," the Dinakian announced. She glanced at Caspian behind her, her eyes frigid as Death itself, before turning back to the dragon. "Open wide - let's see where that dagger is."
