Vince shrugged off his attitude and went to his son. “No! Your yelling at mommy she didn’t do anything to you.” Yelled Nivalis as he hugged harder on his mother’s leg. “It’s ok sweetie, Daddy just lost his first wife it’s going to take some time for him to collect himself.” Assured Jayda as she picked her son up into her arms. Jayda looked back at Vince. “You know your kids will be back here, your boys need you a lot more being they saw their own mother and they have more to recover from their loss just like you.” Jayda turned and left the room. Vince continued to sit in his room where he stayed the whole day.
Gaara had a meeting with a large group in his office all those whom attended to this meeting was important. “As you all know what happened to Angelica, we need to focus on other things. Seth, Kaminari, and Makoto I need you three to keep a close eye on Vince. Jason here thinks something might happen and we must prevent it at all costs.” “Vince is often selfish on his actions and doesn’t really think of the crap he does until it’s too late.” Said Seth.
“Tsurento, Temari I need you both to talk to the twins Lance and Luke. They are both skilled medical ninjas but they are also both really good at building houses. Jason insisted that the house that was burned down be rebuilt. Not for Vince and his family to move in, instead there will be a house built for him and his family a ways from where he once lived.” Gaara handed the two the blue prints of how the house would look like and how to construct it properly. “Furthermore, I have a lot of the villagers that will volunteer in building the house. It should be up and done by 2 months tops.” Tsurento took the plans, both Temari and Tsurento left.
The office was now cleared out. Only a few others remained in the office. Gaara turned his attention to Jason. “Tell me about Seth and Dawn’s son… is it true? Their son is still alive?” asked Gaara. “Indeed, more so I must add that Osiris used a forbidden jutsu where he temporary aged himself. One he’s the one that saved both his mother and aunt from further harm from the battle with Xio and that experimental creature. When he returned back home he filled me in on some information about Seth and Dawn’s son…Adustus. Apparently this was all Xio’s doing, however she sent out Katsumi to do the deed, that plan failed. Someone swarmed her from the Cloud Village. Osiris remembers hearing Katsumi saying the leader’s name Lord Raven.” Gaara’s eyes widen. “Lord Raven? That’s Kaminari’s Father; what do you think about this?” “I don’t know much about him; I do know that he’s not the type that would do any such harm to anyone. I am sure he did his part of keeping Adustus away just incase of further attempts of someone trying to get him again.”
Gaara remembered years back of how Seth and Dawn learned that they were going to be expecting a baby. Dawn was only 13 and Seth was 15 at the time.
***Flash back
Gaara looked upset, Tausha was worried of what worked him up. Gaara had a fight with Vince trying to settle him. Both were injured in the fight. Jason and his wife Ophelia stepped into the house. “How are you feeling Gaara?” asked Ophelia as she started her medical chakra in her hand. “I feel like a stampede of cattle ran my ass over. Other than that ok I guess. How’s Vince? I hope he’s in worse shape than me.” Gaara was really mad at Vince, yet felt a bit bad when he used his jutsu to put a stop to the fight. “Vince? Oh yea he’s just as badly hurt as you. I a way I am glad that you put a stop to his pointless fighting. Anyways I should tell you why he was acting so dam protective to Dawn.” “No need to, Tausha told me about it. That dumb ass just can’t get it through his head that Dawn was never even interested in him. I’m starting to believe more of what Seth… Vince’s younger cousin told me about him.”
“Speaking of Seth, he’s here living at my place for a while. No don’t get all worked up. Though I’m sure you won’t… but just incase. Dawn found out that she’s expecting a baby. She’s beyond scared, so I had Seth to come and not only inform him about the news but for him to stay with Dawn.” Said Jason as he looked at Gaara was shocked to see Gaara push up a smile. “Really? Wow, I know she’s too young to have a baby at her age, but I am glad to see her happy. It’s been a long time since I saw her happy. How is Dawn doing anyways?” “She’s actually pretty good, I think by Ophelia talking to her did some good. I called Seth for him to stay here a while. In the beginning though, Kira was with her for a few days comforting her. Vince opened his mouth and said a few things that he knows he shouldn’t have; thus here you are you two ended up in a fight.”
A few months later Both Gaara and Vince recovered. Dawn gave birth to a baby boy, Seth named him Adustus. Everyone was anxious to see the little bundle. Kira, Tausha, Temari, Kankuro, Gaara, Makoto were the only ones that were invited and strict rules was set by Jason. All who was there to see the newborn was never to speak of the baby for safety reason and for the welfare of the newborn.
That all soon vanished; Adustus was only 4 months old when he was taken away from their parents.
***End of flashback
The two Gaara and Jason continued discussing about on how to reunite Adustus to his parents. By now Adustus is 8 years old. Normally he would be 5, but being his mother’s genes are messed up Osiris, Mirroth and Adustus age faster as they get older and this would end by the time they turn 10 years old where they end up aging normally.
A few months go by, and things actually were turning out ok, until one night. Gaara was away in the office he was struggling to get all of the paper work done with the help of his two older siblings. Kankuro was half asleep sorting the scrolls. Temari kept on yawning while she was sorting what was finished and what was left. Gaara only had one stack left of papers. “You know, it’s getting late, and I think these can wait for tomorrow you both head back home, we will finish this tomorrow. Both stood up and agreed and said good night and left. Gaara was more worried about Tausha’s safety she was due in a few months for their second child. He wanted to be there and never leave Tausha alone.
His worst fear came true when the sound of the door busting open Kira stormed in the room. “Gaara! We need to get home now!” Gaara didn’t even want to think or ask why… he assumed the worst of his fears. The two ran to his place only to see the place a mess, someone got into his home. Gaara went right over to Tausha to see if she was ok. She was knocked out. Kira bolted to where Kyoji slept, only to see that room completely destroyed. The window was blasted outward meaning someone took Kyoji. Kira ran back to inform Gaara. “Gaara… Kyoji, he’s gone, he’s not in his room. I think someone took him.” Gaara snapped his head up at Kira. Tausha began to wake up. K…Koji…is Koji safe?” Gaara didn’t answer. Tausha panicked. “Gaara? Did someone take out son?” Tausha now demanded to know. “Yes, but we will find out who and get him back I promise Tausha.” Gaara’s heart felt like it was crushed, it was crushed even more when he heard Tausha start to cry out for Kyoji.
Kira used her medical jutsu to calm Tausha down. “You stay here, I will round up the others and let them know. I don’t know when I will be back.” “Wait Gaara, shall I have Tausha stay with us? Makoto and I?” Gaara looked around realizing the place was a mess and who knows that someone might be back again. “Yes, do that…but make sure she stays calm… I don’t want her to risk Tausha’s condition.” With that said Gaara took off. Kira called up Makoto letting him know what happened and that she would need his help.
Gaara ran through the streets in Suna where he got a hold of a few people to help him look for his son and who ever was responsible to taking him in the first place. The search went on non-stop and for 2 weeks, the group headed back to Suna. Completely exhausted, Gaara was the one in much worse shape. His body gave out on him and dropped to the ground. Kankuro and Ken ran to him and carried him back to his house.
3 Days later…
Gaara woke up, still feeling tired and pain through his body. He felt a warm hand on his. He looked over to see Tausha. He felt miserable and his mission with the others looking for the return of Koji failed. He never felt so helpless and hopeless all at the same time. “I know you did what you and the others could. I was afraid that you would never wake up. You were out for 3 straight days.”
