The firm ground greeted Caspian's shoulder blades as impolitely as matter under one's feet had the tendency to do. It didn't give much leeway for him to get further down - and away from the boiling hot cheese that was inching towards his face and neck.

 

Queen Queso had finally pinned him down. A slippery bastard, this one was.

"No one has the right to ruin my holiday!" She screamed at the eternal.

"Especially neonpoles like you!" The deranged queen leaned further toward Caspian's face, invoking a pair of furrowed brows.

 

This woman had quite a... peculiar image of a holiday, it seemed.

 

The Queen of Cheese inhaled her lungs full, and opened her jaw to scream - probably dairy-related insults. Or puns - whichever came first.

 

Not that she had the opportunity to do so. A powerful, horizontal pillar of water slammed against her whole body. She definitely screamed as it did - though not insults, her screeching was nothing short of bloodcurdling.

 

The attack was accompanied by a soft giggle.

 

Caspian lowered his forearms from his face. He rolled onto his stomach, and turned to the familiar sound. The eternal groaned, and stumbled up.

"You didn't have to do that."

 

"Yes, I did," Shikun responded, setting her clawed hands onto her hips.

"I had everything under control," Caspian snarled at her.

"No, you didn't," the Draconis argued back instantly. The eternal huffed at her vexedly, flicking his tail from one side to the other. As a wordless reply, Shikun grinned at him widely.

 

The Dairy Queen was quickly back on her feet, and rushed at her opponents with a fiery battle cry.

 

Not surprising to anyone, that strategy fell flat on its face yet again, as Shikun blasted her away once more. The small Draconis crossed her arms, and nodded with a huff. She was victorious on this round, and she knew it. Caspian glanced at her with a smile that mixed amazement and a dash of shameful curiosity in its vessel.
