"I thought you said colorful, not eye-burning."

"Oi!" Caspian turned to Kassin, slightly struggling with his transformed body. It wasn't the first time he had donned the stripes and flashy fins, but it wasn't exactly a common occurrence, either. The frill that ran from his head to his back flashed in a multitude of colors. The rainbow wave traveled downwards along the squiggly fin until it had nowhere to go, and was forced to shift back to yellow and magenta.

Kassin blinked a few times, his brow raising in mellowed surprise. He shuffled slightly in place smoothly and elegantly, a pitch-black tail of a thresher shark following every single one of his movements, almost like a silk scarf. "I was only joking."

"Well, it's a bad joke!" Caspian nearly shouted back at the man. He was acting like a frustrated child, which wasn't new in any way, shape, or form - only foreign to those that hadn't witnessed it before.

"What's got you so riled up?" Dee slid through the water towards Caspian, upside down. The pale man either didn't know how to handle his new lower half of a great white, or he just simply didn't care that much.

The shifter put a stop to his lazy advance by placing a hand on his nose, and pushing him away slowly like an actual shark. "It's a bad place. Too many people. Sharks won't like it. I don't even know any of you."

"That's a lie," Dee pointed out.

"Oh, shut up," Caspian spit back.

"May I?" A voice singsonged as a fourth figure entered the scene. "I haven't come a cross a single thing that doesn't enjoy some calming music." Dante drifted through the water with an instrument in his hands, multicolored and striped, frilled fins and spines adorning his arms and lower half. Kassin moved away, his move slightly skittish. The demon reminded him of a lionfish. Whether the spines were as venomous as those of the stripe-decorated marine creature, was another thing. Still, he wasn't keen on staying put and finding out.

Caspian turned to the demon. His snappy reaction and intense stare nearly made Dante drop the instrument. The shifter quickly glanced over the item. Looked like a lute of some kind, but with a longer neck. Whatever that meant. How was this guy going to play it underwater anyway? He sternly pointed at the light-haired man with his index finger. "Do not."

Dante collected himself, and repositioned his hands on the bouzouki. A huff escaped through his teeth. "Why? Are you allergic to musical notes?"

"I'm allergic to rows of teeth being sunken into my side, thank you very much," Caspian seethed back.

Kassin crossed his arms, tilting his head slightly. "Sharks, eh? Do you have some kind of a problem with sharks?"

"No," the shifter nearly stuck out his tongue as he turned to the dark man, "if I did, Jolt would literally butcher me."

"So it's a you problem, not a they problem," Dante attempted to put two and two together. It was unclear from his tone if it was true mockery, or just a slant of jest.

Caspian twirled again to face the demon. "You haven't seen the sharks I have!"

Everyone fell silent as the eternal's demeanor changed suddenly. They expected another outburst, but what actually came after wasn't necessarily any better. "Speaking of," Caspian mused with his gaze nailed to something in the distance, "move."

Where Kassin and Dante let their curiosity get the better of them, Dee wasn't given such a choice. The monochrome shapeshifter was pushed and shooed away, as Caspian stayed strictly at his tail like an overly protective mother hawk.

Dante leaned towards Kassin, both of them peering into the dark water. "Does that look like a shark to you?"

"It has four legs," Kassin replied matter-of-factly.

"Oh, good. I thought I was seeing things."

Out of the blue, the humongous beast turned to look at them. Its sallow eyes gleamed in the lack of light, making the two men feel like blood itself had frozen in place within their veins.

Kassin cleared his throat awkwardly. "Uh, yeah - move."
