Chapter 25: An Elevator to the Heavens?

In this room there was a sliding puzzle on the wall in front of Link. He went over and solved it within a half an hour. The puzzle was a picture of the golem. This golem was supposed to be a protector of the Ancient pyramid. He was sent by the gods to do his duties, but his mind was twisted and warped till he became evil. The wall started to rumble and collapse when the last piece of the puzzle was slid into place. It revealed a lever and a bronze key in an indentation in the wall. Link picked up the key and placed it into his satchel. Then he pulled the lever. The whole building started to rumble as it was taking off. Link didn't know that at the time, though, because he was inside the pyramid. The pyramid started to rise to the clouds. Like it was going towards the house of the gods. When the rumbling stopped a wall glided down revealing a door behind it. Link entered the next room to find some sort of a control room for a flying device. He went over to the controls and tried some buttons. He went left and right, did loop-de-loops, and barrel rolls. He felt sick and reset the controls to where they were when he entered the room. As the pyramid grew closer to the heavens Link felt like he was being taken to a place that was very holy and didn't want to disturb what the gods wanted him to do. The pyramid stopped at a cluster of clouds that the naked eye from below would throw off as being a puffy cloud, but it was actually a floating palace of some sort that was big enough to house a god. Link looked around at the controls and spied one of the controls that said, "open hatch". He pressed the button to see if it would open a door to exit the pyramid and sure enough it did. He exited the pyramid and took a second to pull in all of the sights of the castle. It was immense and had a lot of towers. As he went toward the palace when he noticed a hut that was to the right of the castle. But when he went toward that hut, he hit an invisible wall. He knew that the hut was part of a side quest and couldn't be accessed unless the person had the appropriate number of shards, but he didn't want to be sidetracked because he needed to complete his quest as quickly as he can because the land was rapidly becoming more and more dead by the hours. Link continued on to enter the castle.
