uhhhhh cats: cat with illness

Today, Groff was ill.

He let out a low whine as Nora removed him from the cat seat.

“It’s alright, kitty.” Nora said, stroking him. “You probably just have a cold.”

Groff sneezed. … Colds suck when you can’t hang out with your friends.

They went over to the vet.

“Yep. Little Groff here sure has a cold, alright.” The vet said, petting him as she spoke. “Quarantine’s definitely gonna be hellish for this one, if I remember correctly- Maybe try using video chat?”

"I do have a cat camera..." Nora said. "Alright, kitty! You may not be able to physically be close to your friends, but you won't have to go without hearing them!"

"Groff's sick today." Groff heard Nora say. "He's got a cold. Talk to my camera if you want to talk to him, I don't want you kitties to get sick too."

Groff watched through the camera app as Chip walked over and scented the camera, before meowing a "Hello!" into it.

"Hi, Chip..." Groff meowed back, before sneezing, causing Cream to jump back and for Chip to flinch.

"Wow! That was loud!" Chip said. "Don't worry! I'll defeat your cold with my magic powers!" Chip then-

"Hey! Hey! Kittycam!" Nora yelled, seeing that Chip, having rolled a Nat 1 on Intelligence, was currently blowing the camera away with his wind magic. "Where'd this breeze come from, anyways?!"

Groff snickered. Even if he's too sick to hang out with his friends physically, they're still always nearby.
