The Tales of Kassin Omaga: Kassin Find an New Hope and Takeshi Fight for Food

A new portal, to a ruined kingdom, plenty of opportunity to be had for sure. Arriving to the world, Kassin must go through the normal portal travel security before he was allowed into the hall, where he see other folks around the galaxy. Maybe it is best to gain help on this mission, though sadly his income is still short at the moment. As he was going to consider that he soloes it, Takeshi ran out of the kitchen with what little bread he manages to grab with the cook chasing him out. 

Following the man out, he was able to keep up with the thief and catch him in the alley when he turns to face Kassin and ready for a fight. Kassin hold up his hands with a smile. “Oh, I am not here to chase you, in fact, I am here to hire you. Now while you are with me, I can offer plenty for you to eat if that interest you...” 

Takeshi paused, he likes food, but is it really plenty he can eat? His doubt seems to be easy to note as Kassin reach down and run his hand over the ground as a spread of large meal for 8 adult humans seem to blossom into reality with a large helping of ribs, honey bread, glazed hams, Lobster and more. He was still in doubt but, stomach over riding logic, the only real way is to....test sample the meal.... Before long Takeshi is guzzling down the pitcher of Ice water and sigh....it was a great meal even if made by magic. 

Seem like Takeshi accepts the deal so long as he keeps him fed, not often he eats so great. With all that done, it was time to plan ahead on the quest, which of course turn out Kassin will have to do it alone. Takeshi is not really a thinker in planning. More of an adapter to the moment kind of guy, so paying a room for him, Kassin retire to his room to stay up to work what plan he could. It was the dead of night that a commotion stirred down the inn's main hall. 

Kassin sense the heat before opening the door but when the door flies open and seeing the entire place in flames, it still caught him by surprise. What more, Takeshi kick open his door to his room and walk out only for Kassin to watch it all melted away as his eyes widen at the sight of fire. Kassin knew that this can lead to a mess, but he must solve this without showing off he has fire. 

Jumping over the rail, he landed into the thick of the flames, the heat tickle as he summons forth his own heat to draw the flames into him...in moment all the fire fade into him, flowing into his body though that included candles and fireplace, so the place is dark, and smell burnt. Eh, he going to need to train this ability more. He stands there recovering when he feels poking. He looks to see Takeshi poking him with a broom, not trusting Kassin will not burst into a flaming water balloon. 
 
Kassin Chuckle and motion Takeshi they are moving out, feeling this fire was more of a competition deterrent then an accident. You think it would be over the top but with the idea of riches on the line? Some people will go even further then set up an inn on fire...in fact he wagers there are more inns on fire than his own. The two get set and head out on their quest. 

Takeshi does not seem to have much to say, He say what on his mind which mostly involve food, though he does mention a few folk Kassin did not dive too deeply for context on. Like when Takeshi uses Tomo Blade to attack the Crystal Wyrm...or the time he plays with that evil eye or when he scared Tomo in the Flower mazed or when they got so drunk, Takeshi dreamt he and Tomo were robots! 

Kassin listen, its sooth him, listening to the joy of others...kind of like listening to his own children as they get excited for things, the track through the jungle into the mountain where the fallen city rest just fly by without issue. He stops Takeshi and points ahead to the remains of the stone gate. 
 
Telling Takeshi to keep a look out he glanced about as Takeshi seemed to ready himself. It was not long before they were interrupted by a band of 5 Adventurer guild members explorer. Kassin look over at then and sense the predator nature of those willing to kill for their goals...perhaps the fire was their doing? 

The leader, an elf women, call out to them, first announcing they should not be ‘playing’ explorer and to leave this to the expert, but showing that Kassin was a guild member she change her tune to explain lower rank need to give first dib to the higher rank, to which Kassin counter with the rules print in the contract where all are entitle to their own equal gain since we all have to pay for service fee for membership cost. How can the lower rank pay the fee if the higher rank expects the lower rank to give everything up to them?  

The women getting irk at this and trying to establish this is a place that has no one explore yet so it should be explore by expert and not by children playing hero. Kassin chuckle and nodded as he agrees, so he will see her and her group later after he explore this ruin. That seems to be the straw that snaps it as the elf steps back and the other four step forward with element weapons. 

Takeshi eagerly jumped forward, now this is more his speed, talk, talk, talk, was boring! Kassin look to Takeshi and ask if he got them as the vampire grin.... he got this. Kassin nodded and offer him a bottle. He instructs him to drink this. Takeshi seems confused but it down in a gulp, ugh, taste like medicine, meaty medicine too which make it worse. Suddenly Takeshi eyes growl large as the outside seem to lose it shade, all darkness disappear, not a shadow exist, and his arms grown bigger, bulky and ending in massive claws hands with bladed short sword length claws. Large ears erupted from his head as each growling he make seem to bounce off everything around him and return to him, painting an picture of the entire world in his mind like an echolocation...and his legs, become strong, able to jump...he feel like the beast been let loose and these guys look like they will be fun to play with! 
 
Kassin chuckle and head into the ruins to search around, soon the fighting dies down as he reaches deeper and deeper. He started to think he entered the wrong end, as the path seemed to lead to lesser path travel. While the kingdom is in rubble, it true that even in this state, Kassin can tell this is not well travel and most good is likely not to be found here...he found some trinkets and wonder but, not much to make it too worth the trip and hassle. He was about to give up when he noticed a serpent with a feather crown and stars chart pattern over its scales...it has no eyes save for the green gems at its center head that act as its eye. 

This tug on Kassin hearts as he starts to reach for the snake, but it slithers away into a seal chamber...unsure of himself, he pushes the chamber open and step into what look like an alter room. At first it did not faze him, religion nothing new, but when he saw the Image of the Nestmother on the wall...this was not possible, the Nestmother was a Naga goddess of his original home world...how did it reach here? He walks to the altar but pauses as the earth shakes a little, the fighting outside must be getting intense. Deciding it best he hurries, he reaches the altar and sees the snake slither around three gems of green like eggs before it forms into a necklace charm, embedded into a silver frame. He feels the Nestmother wished him to take this, her symbol and affection for him, her avatar. 

It was insane. It was hard to accept. But it seems time was not in his favor as another earth shake rumbled the place. After putting the symbol of an ancient goddess away, her look to find the room was not an altar but just a storage closet.... a big one but still. How odd. He rushes out to see Takeshi has taken all but the elf down, the potion faded so he back in human form and it look like the elf has fire. Takeshi was not one to run like a coward, but it was clear he did not like his odds against this fire started. 

Kassin made sure his cuff was straightening up and smile. Maybe part time Help, but all his employees he cherishes as his own family, and now is no different. He calls out to Takeshi to come to him, and when he did, the elf jeer him for running which Takeshi did not take kindly, but Kassin hush him for the moment and smile. “When I give the word my Dear Takeshi, touch my back and try to push your earth power into me like you are trying to make me earthquake the ground. Takeshi looks confused, not sure how that helps but hey, better than dealing with that arrogant fire lady. 

Kassin touch the ground as his body get warm as a wave of fire erupted along the ground and engulf the elf lady in a swirling cyclone of fire, she scoffs at this. “Serious, going to fight fire with fire?” Kassin remark back was for Takeshi to do it now. Takeshi try, not sure what the plan is but as he pushes his earth element into Kassin, it seems he was channeling it, pushing it into a duo casting. The next moment, the swirling cyclone of fire becomes a swirling bladed cyclone of steel iron maiden as the last thing they hear is the elf screaming in the center then silence. Fire and Earth, they make Metal. 

Kassin smile. “Good work, we will still have a bit to do, but let's call it here, think you earn a bit of a reward for your hard work. How about lunch early?” Takeshi smile eagerly though glance at the iron cyclone maiden, that Kassin can be nasty if push, but most of the time he seems chill and friendly and all ways eager to feed him, so Takeshi more than happy to not worry about it.
