"What are you doing?" Hiisi's suspicious, vexed tone skirted the edges of a snake's hiss.
"Look," Caspian turned around. The hems of his dress followed the moment in arcs, imitating it gracefully. "If I'm going to go out, I'm going in style."
"You're' basically going to war, Caspian. That's not the same thing." The Dinakian argued while crossing her arms on her chest. "Besides, you just got that dress. Ruin it now, and I'm the one who has to listen to your endless whining."
Caspian sucked in his cheeks, unsure if he should say anything or not. As per usual, he did anyway: "It's probably Steve, not you."
Hiisi growled at the skies above, and gestured around aimlessly. She didn't know what to do with her hands - or her anything - with the frustration that coursed through her veins like liquid fire. "Steve or not, you're around enough to make me go insane! You are not going out there wearing that!"
"What if I want to?" Caspian argued childishly, raising his chin.
"This isn't about what you want!" Hiisi's raised voice made the eternal take steps back. "Stop being a brat and think for a second, you idiot!
Caspian did. He pondered and thought it over - for ten seconds. He marched through the ship's door confidently and almost pridefully, leaving the Dinakian on the other side to stare after him, her mouth ajar.
If he'd come back whining, she'd burn that dress herself.
