"Romance isn't my thing, really." Caspian spread his mouth into an awkward, momentary, smile-like expression. He raised his shoulder at the same time, shrugging. Momo rolled her pitch-black eyes, crossing her arms. She seemed to scoff, but her tone was soft and playful, not malevolent.

"Oh, come on. Everyone has something they think is romantic, surely. That includes you."

 

The eternal's eyes snapped to the oni, his eyelids drooping, and nose crinkled. "No."

 

The peach demon huffed at the Athos. "You must have something."

"My so-called romance is nowhere near PG13, Momo." Caspian replied, almost partially hissing vexedly. Momo leaned back in surprise, blinking profusely for a moment or two.

 

"What's... pee-gee-thirteen?" Her question was genuine. What a strange word - but it was on par with the eternal as a whole. Caspian stared at the oni for a little while, his mouth slowly opening, leaving itself ajar momentarily. He then suddenly shook his head, and straightened himself in turn.

"Jesus, you're just like Nati."

 

Momo blinked again, a puzzled state of mind shining from her whole being like a beam of light from a lighthouse.

 

But she didn't dare to ask. Whoever those two were, probably mattered little in this case, anyway. It was almost terrifyingly easy to get this man to dig a whole for himself, that he struggled to get up from. She didn't want to contribute to that.
