Rogtuk, Seifer, and Ginger scratch their heads. They searched the house for what was supposed to be decorating the table. But every logical place they should have been, they werenβt. Seifer grew increasingly agitated especially as his talisman refused to show up.
βMaybe you didnβt actually bring it along like you thought?β Ginger offered as Seifer slumped on the couch that he finished pulling all of the cushions off of.
βI am certain that I brought it along. Itβs how I got here.β
Belch.
Silence.
βDid that package just burp?β Rogtuk asked, slowly bringing his hand to his hip. Azkolβs ears perked and he reluctantly raised himself from his nap. The wolf slowly approached the package, sniffing curiously. Without warning, the package unraveled and ripped- revealing eyes and a maw. It chomped at Azkol, barely whiffing as the wolf flinched away.
βDid you do get this on purpose?β Seifer demanded.
βWhat is that?β Ginger gasped at the same time, Spicy buzzing erratically on her hat.
βDid it eat my talisman?β Seifer pulled a knife from his belt, ready to throw down to get his carving back.
Rogtuk pulled his own knife from his belt. It was enchanted and immediately sparked with a wreath of flame. He would usually prefer his bow, but being indoors the smaller blade was better. Even still, he was hesitant to attack with a fiery weapon in his own home. A hang up that Seifer didnβt have with his own mundane knife as he stabbed at the lid of the mimic present.
Rogtuk: -would like to do this without destroying the entirety of his house-
Sorry Rogtuk!!
