Chapter 6: Kassin and Bertrand Play a Game

It started by waiting for the bus inside a mom-and-pop shop out of the snow flurries storms. That how it started at least, so harmless. Now it seems like Bertrand testing his Wits before this businessman on this strategy board game. At least the guy is not annoyed about his winning streak but how lucky can the bastard be?
Trying phycological warfare, Bertrand tries to analyze his opponent skill in this game as his ability to move folks in a controlling manner to suit his design. Perhaps a control freak mayhap? So, Bertrand attempt to move against the design of the Businessman action. Damn Lost! How the hell did he?
The Businessman look to about to point where he went wrong but Bertrand stop him, if he going to win, it will be with his SKILL and WIT alone! He Will not FAIL! The Businessman nodded and back off as Bertrand start to analyze the last few plays. This man is reading his movement somehow, his mask is on so that mean he somehow reading his eyes movement? Is he making gesture that giving away clues?
After going over the game play he set the game up, ignoring the businessman protest as he will not leave until he wins. Okay, so the odds in his favor if the Man move first, so watch his movement...okay, now he going to move but it will hinder his movement, limiting his advancement but put his piece in danger. That okay, cause next turn, he is backing up the pieces, good, he cannot advance or capture his piece, he rules that parts, but so that mean the next lane is the next target...
Oh, so anyone would think, the side land is more open than the middle lane, so most would head to the side lane and ignore the middle lane...that not how this goes, the Man move his pieces into the middle lane. Bertrand was not falling for this, not this time...he is forcing him to trap the forces in the middle lane and there by having little figure to cover the bigger side lanes giving the man the full free road to his base!
Oh no Mr. Businessman! Instead, he covers the middle lane with a few tough pieces and focuses on the side land. And seeing the bigger lanes are all cute off, the Businessman make the mad march to the center lane. The battle was hard, most of the bigger DPS was at the side lane, but the tanker was keeping back the heavy onslaught of troop. As the businessman attempt to break through Bertrand defense, Bertrand move the side lane down and start to attack the enemies base, and with his defense holding out LONGER than the Base, Bertrand WIN!
With Satisfaction, Bertrand leaned back with an air of smugness. The Businessman chuckle and stand up. “Just in time for my ride. A pleasure to spend the time with you, good sir. Should you find yourself in the Adventurer Guild in Khari, feel free to check out my shop, Kassin Omaga will offer you a free drink if it meets your fancy.” He chuckles and leaves as Bertrand lowers his eyes.
