Bertrand comes from an upper class family.  As a child he typically kept to himself, though he would still talk a little if prompted.  In childhood his family was very well off, and in the present day he earns a lot in his career.

Being a doctor, he is well educated - what he lacks in brawn he makes up for in brains.

Bertrand tends to talk with his hands, throwing around hand gestures while going on tangents.  He is fairly expressive despite often wearing a mask.  Although he is a professional, he still tosses in a bit of banter every now and then.  If you asked him to describe himself, he’d most likely say he’s quick-thinking, well spoken, and that he knows exactly where to strike an opponent if he was assaulted (this has happened a few times already).

Due to his quirky nature and quick tongue, his peers aren’t always on board with what he’s saying - some think him to be a snarky know-it-all due to his tangents.  Bertrand himself can get a little frustrated when having to either repeat himself or to speak in layman’s terms.
