How to slay your dragon: The Warrior and the Farmer

Vex looked around at the landscape. he had ducked behind cover to catch his breath for a second but it wouldn't last that long as he would notice a figure grabbing the wildlife and getting them to safety... Unfortunately the Crystal Wyrm had also taken notice of this. And was preparing to launch an attack at the person. Vex instantly started running to get between the person rescuing the animals and the Wyrm's attack. Deflecting the massive crystal safely into the ground in front of himself. '"You okay... ma'am?" He asked looking at the... Bush? Cat?

 

'"I-I'm fine t-thanks for that." She said smiling a bit shy as she started picking up another of the deer like creatures. '"Mind helping me move these Volai into that cave to keep them safe?" She asked quickly as she walked with the one she was carrying.

 

'"Sure I'll help but I think I'll probably be of better use getting those attacks out of the sky while you move the heard... also I'm Vex it's nice to meet you." Came the Kitsune's reply with a slight smile and with that the two got to work getting the heard to safety Vex using some fire to heard them closer to the safety of the cave whenever he wasn't blocking the giant crystals from hitting Indie.

 

'"name's Indie Rishi." She added Suddenly in the middle of it all feeling a bit more comfortable after a few hours of this constant herding.

 

 And Indie was picking the Volai up one or two at a time and running with them back to the caves. Until Vex had an idea. '"Indie what is your element?" He asked as his flaming sword knocked two more attacks out of the sky. 

 

'"Earth why do you ask?" Indie answered a bit confused.

 

'"I have an idea that will give us a lot of time to get the heard to safety. If we combine our elements we can create a metal wall between the wyrm and the heard." Vex explained with a grin. 

 

'"Sounds like a plan." Indie said preparing to use a bit of magic as Vex did the same. It took a few minutes to make the full wall but once it was finished they got the entire heard into the relatively safe cave.
