How to slay your dragon: Renewed resolve

'"Hey ugly I'm back!" He shouted casting a blast of silver flames at its left eye. It was a direct hit... '"What's that shimmering? Why does it appear to be getting... Aaaahhh!" He jumped back just in time to dodge a massive crystal spike that was sticking in the ground right where he had been standing. '"Okay no insulting it." Vex noted calmly before shooting another blast focused through his sword at the same eye. He then ran up the crystal that had embedded itself in the ground jumping off of it and onto the next one that had been shot at him blasting again. He kept jumping using the wyrms on attacks to close the gap so it couldn't continue striking at him. '"I'll admit this barrage of crystals is a bit annoying... but hey they make an amazing set of platforms!" He mused to himself as he once again got on the wyrms back this time though he used a vine he had brought with him tying one end to one the creature's horns and holding the other end with his now sword hand tightly he started cutting into the wyrms back again and again going crazy as he slashed at it. Then it dived down to the ground and Vex was forced to jump off landing next to his portal home wich he went through quickly to dodge a couple dozed more shards of crystals flying at his face. '"That was close." He muttered to himself. '"Yikes!" He shouted as one last crystal flew through the portal at him and he only just dodged out of the way.
