Ravi's Boss Fights: Miser Shen Prompt 2

Draw or write your character arriving at the party in their finery-- or less than finery. Are they wearing an elaborate dress? A devilish outfit meant to frighten? A panda onesie?

 

When Ravi and Tanner arrived at the party they were completely out of breath. It had been a mad dash for about fifteen minutes, and Ravi had to carry Tanner on their back for about five of those fifteen minutes. Needless to say, it had been exhausting. Ravi set Tanner down and paused for a moment to catch their breath. Next step, inspect the clothes before entering.

Despite their less than ideal arrival, there was no excuse for Ravi to not go in there looking their best. Or, at least, as best as they could given the situation. Unfortunately the lower half of Ravi’s boots were completely covered in muck and small stones. Unless there was somehow a firehose in the near vicinity, there was no way that was all going to come off. As it was, they did the best they could and were left with a thin layer of muck.

The rest of their outfit had been thankfully mostly unscathed. There was a small smudge of mud on Ravi’s plaid half skirt and a bit on their cargo pants, but it came off quickly and wasn’t that noticeable. Ravi’s hair, however, had been messed up slightly by Tanner and so they took a quick moment to smooth it down as best as they could.

When Ravi turned to Tanner, they found that Tanner had significantly less muck on him and it annoyed Ravi for a second. Tanner’s outfit was on the more formal side and he had a button up shirt with a vest on top with some pants that looked like some sort of iridescent spider web material.

 

“Your outfit okay?”

 

“Yeah! Thankfully not much got on it. Thanks for carrying me by the way.”

 

Ravi nodded and turned towards the structure where they could hear the party going on inside. “This is as good as we’re gonna get. I’m going to go see if I know anyone there.”
