Ai no Kusabi is an Anime OAV, I think she wants fiction recs.

Are you wanting Fanfiction? (if so what fandom?) or Original Stories?

If you want original slash or gundam wing fanfiction I have an entire library full of yaoi/slash that I've written (92 individual titles in all, most of them multipart novels, I write epics and I have about a decade worth of my writing on-line):

If you like lit slash, Lorena Manual is one of my best real life friends and a fabulous author:

She's also a published author too and her published original slash novels are here:

    Her first novel: Pastoral

    Her second Novel: Arabesque

If you want other PUBLISHED novels:
Lynn Fewelling's "NightRunner Series" of books
Mercedes Lackey's "the Last Herald Mage Trilogy"
Storm Constantine's "Wrethuthu" (or close spellind, it's an odd title)
Fiona Patton's "The Stone Prince" series
    Ellen Kushner's "Swordspoint"

that's probably good for starters huh?

I wouldn't say most good stories are yaoi. I think you mean that most yaoi is good- which is fair enough ^^ I have two yaoi stories to my name- atleast one of them is good (even thought that scene with the monkey was a little weird ^^; )

I haven't read a whole lot of yaoi, but I really liked, for the most part, Fablespinner's Infinity series.  (I say for the most part because there were some plot holes that bothered me somewhat, but I also never finished the story.  I read the first few chapters for our art trade).

But otherwise, my favourite stories don't tend to be yaoi at all - most of them aren't even particularly romantic, though that element inevitably comes up in most novels.

BIG holes, that do get filled in at the end, I know which ones you refer too in the beginning chapters, they are supposed to be there to make you wonder and then it all gets explained eventually. First 3 chapters are really VAGUE, you get more questions than answers.

No, no, D, I didn't mean plot holes.  i would never even mention those having not read the whole story.  Other things bugged me a little, but not enough for me to dislike the story in any way.  ;)  Anyhow, should you wish to talk more about it, we could do so in pms rather than taking over the forum, no?  :D

    *hugs*
