PROMPT: Prompt #2 - Pinpointing Posi - Portal Posi could be anywhere– with the chaotic disorganization of the portals, she may have slipped off to any world. Consult with fellow adventurers or the people of Kahari to try to catch her trail. Does your character have any skills or abilities that would help them trace Posi’s lab? Do they have a hunch they want to follow? Do they just want an excuse to travel through as many portals as possible as fast as possible? Draw or write about your character strategizing or searching for Portal Posi and her lab. Your piece must include your character with a map, another character they’re planning with, or in a location where they are searching, or discovering Portal Posi’s lab– you choose where!
. . .
Through the portal, Ilthran made his travel back to the guild and indeed, he gathered the men and women that have sworn themselves capable of the task of putting an end to the disaster.
This is when a certain individual approached him, a man wearing a red cape who has promised a small group of other like-minded individuals to be interested in solving the case. Ilthran was led into a room which functioned as a briefing room.
A handful of guards that are responsible for the security within a city from which they came. Some more experienced than others, but they seem cooperative, even if intimidating to the green-haired elf.
Ilthran placed the map over a large table with tiny figures that would indicate each stop for when plans would be made. "I believe it is best for us to transfer a team to investigate this area, for it is known for its many resources that may have helped the enemy to corrupt the portals."
The guard captain known by the name Tyrvalor leaned onto the table to get a clear look of where the magician was pointing. "That's a plan. What of the other regions, would you suggest, Ilthran?" He asked back with curiosity.
"The same plan. We divide their numbers for each region to be explored, however ..." Again, his gloved finger traces the map to the previous location at which he pointed. "For this region, I'd recommend the most capable warriors of both blade and magic to form a group." The two nod, while the rest gazed curiously at the map.
"Oh, I have met a very capable man for the tracking duty. He may have a thing or two to add." Tyrvalor was quick to mention, when he suddenly left the room to invite a dogfolk, named Luis inside the room.
"Welcome!" Ilthran smiled back at the newcomer of their current team. Together, they resumed the planning for a potential infiltration plan. One, that the enemy would least expect. Or will she, really?
