Oh my gosh, I love the composition and lighting of this one. It creates such an intimate and quiet atmosphere. We, the viewer, can immediately get a feel of Bertrand's inner mind and contemplations from the get-go.
The framing of the wheat in the foreground especially add to this effect (of being secretive), giving the viewer a peek into what is otherwise unseen. Amazing work overall!
Aw thank you very much! I'm glad you like this! I referenced a shot of Disney's Alice in Wonderland (the 1951 version) for this as it was really calm and pretty to me (also the title of this post is a direct reference to that particular song number). It's not exact, but I think it still came out okay. It was nice drawing Bertrand like this for a change - you don't really get to see him as such very often, Again, thank you! I appreciate it!
