Portal Posi Battle (Rigmor): Accidental help

Not long ago Brighid got on the trail of Portal Posi, after the raptor had been given a spine-like cord of one of her mechanical servants to examine. Relying on their companion's keen sense of smell, Rigmor arrived at a well hidden cave in one of the Kahari's canyons.

The interior of the cave was dark and dry, but thanks to Brighid's sense of direction, the two knew exactly where to go. Around the corner a faint light came into view, prompting Rigmor to investigate it. Its source turned out to be a strange circle of swirling energy, through which the witch doctor could see a drastically different environment composed of metal panels and tubes. Rigmor approached the dimensional tear and carefully stepped inside.

The dimly lit place beyond the portal greeted them with the muffled noises of working machinery. Rigmor didn't know its purpose, but in light of Portal Posi's recent deeds, they thought it was crucial to find it out. After examining this alien interior, the witch doctor came to a conclusion, that the noises were coming from the large metal boxes standing beside some of the walls. 

If Rigmor knew at least something about modern technology, they would've recognized a control panel in one of the rooms, but alas, the best thing the witch doctor could think of was getting inside one of the metal boxes to have a better look at the machinery inside. With the power of fire Rigmor melted the side of the box, unknowingly damaging the working components behind it, leaving the whole place in pitch darkness and silence.

Far away, inside the gigantic metal serpent, Portal Posi realized, that one of her secret hideouts was discovered and someone had just shut down the energy generator located there, disrupting some of the functions of her mech.
