PT 1: The Neo-Generation

Prologue: The Apocalyptic Child

A millennia has passed between the final battles of Sailor Moon and the peace and serenity that the galaxy has come to know. In the palace of the moon kingdom a voice echoes from the throne room of Neo Queen Serenity. Her imperial silver crystal was brimming with color as it was floating in the center of the room. A loud, ominous voice flowed from the crystal. "In 3 days the power of the moon kingdom will shatter......a birth of ultimate evil will emerge." Just then all of the remaining Sailor scouts entered the room. "What is going on?" Exclaimed Saturn, "that voice what does it want?" Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Mini-Moon all stared with puzzled looks. The four original scouts did not look like they have aged a day since the final battles. Mini-moon, however, had blossomed into a very lovely young lady. "Your moon kingdom's power will falter......," boomed the voice, "a spirit you did not vanquish shall take control once again......your friend shall once again fall to darkness..."

The voice fell silent, a beam of light flew from the crystal and fell upon the stomach of Sailor Saturn. As she fell to the floor her transformation failed and the black star of Mistress 9 appeared upon her brow. Her stomach swelled with the presence of a new life...a cold life, one single presence full of darkness. Saturn was rushed to the infirmary. Two and a half days passed with no change. Saturn's birthing had begun. The skies were thundering and clouds were swirling. The entire galaxy started to quake with an immeasurable force. In the infirmary Neo Queen Serenity and Scouts surrounded poor Saturn.

"There is one way to end this stage......It may take our lives," said the Queen, "if you wish we will use the power of the crystal to seal Mistress 9. But, it will take Saturn as well." "Do it!," said Princess Rini, "she is my friend, she wouldn't want the world to end by her hands." "Very well then," said the Queen, "Sailor Planet Power!!!!!" The imperial crystal glowed with an awesome power. The scouts lent their energies to the crystal. As Saturn lay still a ghastly, shadowy hand came from her heart and grabbed the crystal. "I will be born, whether I end the galaxy now or later, rest assured I will end all." said the voice of Mistress 9. Her power was holding back the power of the crystal. Then the crystal started to crack. "Scouts," explained the Queen, "when I am gone you will be too......to end this evil and give life a chance we must rely on new generation......a stronger generation.......new scouts with new powers.....be prepared for this scouts you are about to take into your selves crystal power." "MOON CRYSTAL POWER" with those words the crystal shattered, and the lifeless body of the once proud queen fell.

One by one the crystal shards flew into the scouts. As they did the scouts disappeared leaving behind a child in there place. Rini, Mercury and Venus left girls. Mars and Jupiter had boys. Saturn was the only one left. In her new consciousness she conceived twins, one good and one terribly evil. Mistress 9 had been born.....but not how she expected. In her son, Saturn felt all her power and much more. One by one the children disappeared as the galaxy was reborn. The galaxy had returned as thought crystal power had never existed, as though sailor moon never existed. "I'll watch over you all......," promised Saturn, "I am sorry my children you must grow alone, but I'll be there someday." As she said these words the earth began to bustle with new life again.

Ch1: Broken Hearts

"The time has come Kaia. Awaken the sleeper...protect the universe.....your destiny begins......awaken...."

These words have haunted her dreams for the past 3 weeks. She was a normal 16 year old girl with normal 16 year old habits. Except she had a secret. A few weeks ago she was normal, never did anything unexpected or out of line, but now, now she's different........

3 Weeks Ago:

It was a sunny day in down town Phoenix, birds singing, wind blowing, kids late for school, speaking of late for school Kaia was running 25 min. late for her first day at her new high school. Not a good time to be late. As she arrived to class, tardy, her teacher reprimanded her then showed her to her seat. She was alone in this school. No friends, but she was confident that she would find some. As the day went on she met new people but none of them turned out to be friend material. Despite it all she kept a cool head and went on with her day.

On her way home she saw a tall blonde mad chasing a little girl who was crying over the death of her cat. "Come back here little girl, our sovereign needs your broken heart energy!" screamed the man. Then the man lifted off the floor and started levitating. And in a burst of energy he flew after the girl. The man finally caught the girl in a dark alley. "Now hand it over......It wont hurt ......much!" he laughed maniacally. Then a strange beam of light shown from his palm and shot straight into the girls heart. A small crystal the size of a small watch battery flew into his hand, then the girl fell silent.

Kaia's heart skipped a beat. She knew what she had to do. Inside she felt a new energy and with all her heart she wished for the strength to save the fallen child. As if her prayer had been answered a small beam of white fluorescent light beamed in front of her and a small cat emerged. "I am Diana, I'm here to help," said the cat. "A talking cat, men that fly!" stammered Kaia, "What next. "Just listen, no time to explain now," said Diana, "speak what is in your heart." Kaia looked deep inside and found her center she knew now what she had to do. She stuck her had in the air and shouted, "Spirit Soul Power!" As she did new clothes, armor, appeared on her and a majestic rod appeared in her hand. A new power filled her body, she knew now what her destiny was, all her dreams had been answered.

"Back away!" she screamed. "Who are you? Some girl who just left a costume party?" said the man sarcastically. "I am Sailor Spirit! Guardian of the hearts of the pure. You chose this girl because of her pure broken heart energy and for that I'll punish you!" screamed Spirit, "Spirit Rod Hammer!!!" As she said this she struck him with her rod and the hit blew the man 3 feet away. From his hands fell the crystal. "Meddlesome! This wasn't in the job description!" he said angrily. " Who are you?" asked Spirit. "I am one of four. Nero's my name, broken hearts my game! Well I'll let you off with a warning this time!" smirked Nero, "But I'll be back for more broken hearts!" With his final words he flickered out of sight.

Spirit knelt down and picked up the crystal and placed the crystal on the girls chest. With a wave of her rod she said "Soul Revival!" The girls heart glowed and then was hole again. "Thank you." exclaimed the girl, "my friend wont believe this!" She trotted away singing a happy tune. "Thanks Diana!" said Kaia, "I understand my purpose but why are you here?" "I am here to guide you and the others when they come." she said. "There are more!" she exclaimed, "Cant wait to meet them, their help will be appreciated. When will they come?" "In time they shall all come here," said Diana, "we must be patient. You were the last scout to be activated you know....we weren't sure it was you. But I found you in time." explained Diana, "but I do not know their identities yet." "Well I can't wait for help." Said Kaia as she and Diana walked into the sunset.

Present Time:

"Well Diana I'm off to school wish me luck." said Kaia. "You're late you know!" scolded Diana "I know that. Anyway I have a felling I'm going to meet new friends today!" said Kaia as she left for school. This is just the beginning she thought to herself.
