He didn't trust his eyes so he closed them with the guise of taking a deep breath to calm himself and he heard it the sound of a sword being drawn and a polearm being grabbed. He didn't let on he heard it and continued with the "acceptance" speech for what he realized was a fake award. '"Since I don't deserve it I can't accept." He said ducking the first swing and catching a spear that had been meant for him which he quickly jammed into the first attacker's leg as he quickly ran for backstage grabbing his sword from where he had left it. '"a bit sad my only suit is going to get messed up from this but oh well." He said as he took out the two combatants that had been on stage quickly before ducking again to just barely get out of the way of a third assassin's attempt to stab him.
