Bio:

He once was a reluctant and reserved classy demon of high rank and desire. The desire for riches and title alone were why he was often flooded with attention, albeit shallow and unwanted. This is why he became less willing to entertain people and parties, feeling their motives black and white, too easily sussed out with a mere conversation. He wanted to find a purpose to live, a reason for creation and why to be around, and surely to him, it was not for these tepid luxuries.

He felt like he started getting answers when he met a young human whom he at first passed off as meek, if not disgusting. Though they surprised him with compassion. That compassion was only ever contrasted by how deeply they clearly were neglected. Spurred on by his own curiosity, he took to passively visiting the child and acting as a guardian of sorts, and a friend.

Despair was unfortunately not far behind as before the child could even grow to an adult, they were lost to the world, along with their small and likely little-known village. A famine had taken near all, one he had no control of, nor had he been able to help near enough.

Distraught, he was even more confused how in all his meetings with the child in the evenings, they had not mentioned once a desire for help or anything of the like. They had always been rather happy, naively approaching with the excitement such a harsh reality. He mourned a good long time before deciding to take his own steps into the world and observe it, open to new experiences, and try and find what made that child so happy to engage with the world. Perhaps even from a  sense of guilt, wishing to experience what they never had the chance to.
