I like under wires.... they give you a nice shape T.T

I totally agree with that -- and I never had problems with the underwire cutting into me or discomfort whats so ever.

I tend to agree with the majority here..  It depends on overall proportion.

I wish I were smaller all over, but that will never happen, as I have a very muscular build.  Even when I was a slim and slender teenager the stupid BMI told me I was overweight....  And I have now DD cups.  I don't have back troubles, because I have so much muscle there from swimming, but nor am I disproportionate - I'm stocky in build.

In my case, smaller boobs would make me look fat (ter).

On that note, my sister-in-law is so tiny all over she looks like she's got bird bones, and larger breasts would look SO wrong on her.  It's totally about proportions.

And underwires CAN be totally uncomfortable, depending on the shape of bra.  I had to try TONS of different shapes before I found some that didn't cut into my skin really badly...  You can get lots of no-underwires here in Canada though.  Maybe you should come shopping above the border, Susie!

I think its pretty funny reading all your different answers...I never really cared much about the size of a womans breasts. Now dont get me wrong, Im a guy and I occasionally find myself staring. The way I see it as long as the girls happy I'm happy.

Over all in answer... no..not in some (if not most) bigger isnt better especially if you want to bind them back, and if you do a lot of sports and find it hard to get support.

im a D cup and potentially getting bigger depening on me inheriting mums before im 21...

binding is really painful and i need a watertight outfit to at least try and get away with it.

I dont recomend binding to anyone above a B cup.

Cosplayers manage fine on most occasions, i envy them partly because of their skill, but it is temporary, not something that would have to be done every morning...

There are circumstances where big is better for some women.. but in a lot of cases there are hundreds of women in England begging for NHS breast reductions... most cant go private and its a shame when there are so many women that are able to get enhancements when they want (they do save up of course but still.. its.. one of those things)

Its all a matter of perspectives and proportion

And about underwires i totally understand both sides of the argument. When i was still an A and B cup i hated them but now as a D cup i find them just as confortable as non, and its much easier to buy wired because of the choice unfortunately.

And for my height.. im taller than 5"7.. i was measured at that a few years ago.. i MIGHT be 5"10/11 not sure right now, and im a size 14 (in england) and after reading about all of the backpain problems it surprised me, though i do have a wide back.. haha im a 36D/38C and i have quite broad shoulders for a girl , well i did because of all the swimming i did (or so my dad said anyway xD it could be down to general build, i dont think ill ever be able to be skinny cause of how thick built i am hehe), now its not so bad cause ive not swam for years.

Sorry about all the edits too, i reread this a few times and decided to clarify different occasions. and of course i added parts in the brackets in the wrong places a few times without realising xD

Every time this subject comes up, people jump on the "let's all knock big breasts because they're stupid and whorish!" bandwagon. As a naturally big-breasted woman, this makes me sad. I think my breasts are just lovely. I'm not saying they're better than small breasts or anything, but they're not worse, either. I'm a DD, and I'm healthy, proportionate, and my breasts don't cause me any pain or health problems. It's true that they'll probably sag when I'm older, but the biggest factor in breast sagging (other than age, obviously) is pregnancies, not size. (Contrary to popular belief, breast feeding does not make breasts sag, just the pregnancy does.) And small breasts can sag too.

I agree that women shouldn't get enlargments, because real boobs are ALWAYS prettier than fake ones, no matter the size. (Unless the woman had to get her originals removed because of cancer or something.) But I'm seeing a lot of "women with big breasts should get reductions!" No, no we shouldn't! Why shouldn't big-chested ladies feel proud of our bodies too?

As a woman who likes women, I like breasts of all sizes. Each is appealing in its own way. :3 I don't necessarily think large is better in art--actually, I like series where the female characters all have different body types.

In short, why does one have to be "better" than the other? Can't we just agree that all boobs are awesome?

Breast size has always been somewhat of a drama topic, especially in my school. There are girls, around thirteen and fourteen, who think that they need to have enourmous breasts to get a boyfriend. In fact, there is a girl in my school who has large breasts (I'm in middle school), and she flashes them around to the entire male population like she's some infamous pornstar. Girls like that are very tiring and bothersome, but nonetheless I still feel sorry for them. What teenage girls need to know is that larger isn't better, larger isn't always prettier or more attractive, and it most certaintly is not just a sex plaything.

Evolutionarily (is that a word? lol) speaking, larger breasts meant more fat reserves for times when food was hard to find. So it's sort of instinct that makes guys like big breasts. those women would be able to sustain themselves and their children better.

This is why size 12 was more popular back in the days. Back then it made sense though. Now days you don't have to have weight to prove status- that's done with cloth. That's why sexy is such a relative term now. Sexy comes in all shapes and sizes now. It's all about force o personality.

In your school years though, it's VERY easy to believe the media in that there's only one sexy shape which is wrong. They should show that beauty comes in all forms. Then we wont grow up screwed up in the head >.>
