Magical manipulation

CHARACTERS: Dee, Ilthran Resphin, Ain
PROMPT: Prompt #1 - Reorienting Portals - While other adventurers work to find and stop Portal Posi, a team begins to work on the out of control portals. Some portals have opened where they shouldn’t, others send people to the wrong place, and still others defy the known laws of portals in no understandable way. Join in to set the portals right using magic, science, or nonsense spaghetti throwing! Consider reaching out to another player to collaborate on a piece with your two characters working together, or do a two-part piece where your character is on one side of a portal and theirs is on the other. Draw or write about your character’s efforts to redirect the portals to where they’re supposed to go. Your piece must include your character with a portal.

After Ilthran heard of the situation, he made haste to the local library to find the necessary resources to construct a formula to redirect the corrupted flow and destination of its portal. This being the very first attempt at such a task made it quite a challenge to the strategist. It is due to his experience with the programming of mana cores for his metal golems that he knows how to manipulate existing, steady flows of magic.

None without a struggle, for each adjustment in its magical script could cause the influence of wild magic, and with that, invite a major threat to the people their safety. Hours of experimentation led him to the correct formula with the supervision of friendly eldritch entities for when danger would, indeed, occur. Excited as the magician felt with his success, he hurried to the remote library for an immediate meeting with a man who is known for his expertise on the field of the arcane.

This turned out so good and you were so damn fast drawing this as well! The sciencentific magic is so well done, I can vividly imagine being a part of the scene by the way you drew it! Hands down!! Also thank you for including Ain Heart

Thanks! I tried my best! It was pretty difficult to put it in practice, but I guess this sorta works. It isn't usually visible to others, only to those who wear similar spectacles, but it does need to be seen for people to understand what is happening.

Thanks for offering Ain, it's been a pleasure! Gotta get those eldritch "body guards" for good luck.
