Slime Subjugation Quest: Helping Another

There is once a slime who travels to find a spot to live. On her journey she encountered a human named Edelweiss and a hydra disguised as a human named Hayano. Though temporary, the three of them encountered for some time. Through their encounter, there is once a monster that is blocking their path. They tried to talk it out with the monster but it’s not cooperative. Its giant body makes its footsteps lethal, but the three of them are fast enough to dodge. The giant was not pleased every time they dodged. It roared with an ear-piercing sound, but it did not stop the three. Weiss played a music that damages everyone around her and of course the two are included.  While distracted, the giant took its time to stamp the slime. It was hit but after the giant raised his foot to confirm, residues of the slime started to move at the center and started to form a new. Physical attacks are not effective to a slime since it had a liquid body. The giant then turned its attention to the disturbed hydra and stamped it. It raised its foot again to confirm the death of the hydra but same with the slime, it started to regenerate a new with a few serpent heads to it. The serpents hiss and start to stretch towards the giant while biting it. The giant got down on its knee due to the debuff from the music and the poison but it’s not ready to kick the bucket yet. It stands up even in agony and made a proud roar stating that it can still fight. This time it grabs a tree and pull it out of the ground. It then swings it down like a club. Debris fly over from the impact making dodging harder than earlier. The three still managed to dodge easily. They then started their counterattack but still individually. In the end, the three of them are still strangers with each others who just somehow managed to meet at a random place. They will also not attack this giant right now if only it did not attack first. Suddenly, a stomach grumbled. It looks like the long fight makes someone hungry. The source of the sound was the slime. It made a step forward without dodging at all. It received all the attack but regenerates its body at the end. When it was close to the giant, its mouth suddenly expanded much bigger than the giant then swallowed the giant a whole. After that, the mouth returned quickly to its original size. There is no longer any trace of the giant, as well as the tree it picked up earlier. This time, another stomach grumbled. But it was a bit late for the owner of that stomach since the food is already gone. Hayano, the hydra asked for her share of meat, but the slime did not answer. The two argued for a while and Weiss decided to leave the two to set her own journey.
