Jax encounter with the Godspawn: Research to save a friend

The door to the shed slams open.

“CELINE!, “Jax frantically enters. “What do you know about eldritch gods!?” He has an excited look to him.

“Eldritch gods? What about them? And why?” Celine closes the book she had open and goes to her bookshelf.

“Evan found a Godspawn! Tell me you know something about them please.” 

Celine slides her hand along book spines on a shelf stopping at one with small chains around it. She removes the book from the shelf and heads to her desk to remove the chains.

“Let's see here,” Celine opens the book. The book shrieks and lets out a blast of dark light. When the light fades Celine starts flipping though the book. “Here! Godspawn!”

Jax heads over to the desk with Celine.

She begins to read.

“It will be called The Godspawn. Weak to Air, Earth, and Celestial magic. Uses the magic of Chaos.” There are big red splotches covering some of the text. Celine continues to read. “The Godspawn appears to have ……… with ……. And….. I can't….. Help…”

Jax excitement turns to panic. “Celine did Evan take a portal somewhere recently…”

“Yes…. Oh dear….Jax, take the book. I'll open the portal. Go make sure Evan is ok!!”

Celine closes the book and hands it to Jax. She grabs her staff and opens a triangular portal.

“If you need backup I will get Lu. GO MAN GO!!!”

Jax rushes through the portal in search of his friend.
