Chapter 1: It's only 2 pages are chapters necessary?

The home of Alzoru Ledura, a fairly small and mostly inhabited island in the Nofuku Archipelago on the world of Nafine. Upon this island is a jungle on the west side containing many fruit trees, including such delicacies as Coconut, Anu’hiwi, Sushwek, and Aspera. Bushes of crowberry and shellberry, and groves of pineapple plants.

In the center of the island is an old, ruined settlement. Pillars of stone stand in remembrance of a civilization that once lived here, likely a Khermuul settlement, given the location. The ruined foundations of homes are overgrown with flowering Iri’hala vines, mushrooms, and often infested with niwi ants. The Ruins hold many old pottery shards, statuettes, and other artifacts.

On the east side, however, the terrain raises up into the remains of a long-dead volcano, and the rocky east-side beach is full of sea-caves. The largest sea cave is the lair, and is accessible to landwalkers at low tide. To walk down this hall is to pass by crabs, sea anemones, corals, barnacles, and other small, hardy sealife. After about a 200 meter walk, one enters the Foyer, which is a huge room with a staircase leading up to a platform.

At the summit, one will see a living area with finely-carved stone furniture including chairs, couches, bookshelves, and two tables.  They are cushioned with fine coconut fiber pillows stuffed with feathers and linen fluff. The Bookshelves are lined with classic myths and stories from the Epic of Gilgamesh and the Khermuul creation myth, to stories such as the classic Nafinian comedy “The Twelve Rings,” and several Tabletop RPG Books. Several Cook books also line one specific book case, marked as “The Cooking Shelf” via a small plaque.

In a smallish alcove, there is a kitchen area with a wood-burning stove, a cupboard, and a cabinet. This area is where Alzoru does all hir cooking, or occasionally has a kobold do it for hir. The Main room also has several doors leading elsewhere, each labeled. One reads “Bed and bath rooms,” one reads, “Storage Areas,” and the final reads “Servant quarters and workshop.”

There are two bedrooms, the Master and Guest Bedrooms. The Master Bedroom is Alzoru’s quarters, a large room that also has a private bathroom connected to it. The room contains a king-sized circular bed with a framework made of granite and palm wood planks. The mattress is bound with Linen and stuffed with the finest fabrics that the island can provide, and so are the pillows. The sheets are blue-dyed coconut fiber sheets, and fairly waterproof. The room is full of draconic statuettes of hir, and there is a writing desk in the corner with a bookshelf containing tomes and tales written by the dragon hirself. The Bathroom is a decently-sized one with a bath tub, shower, toilet, sink, an area for storing laundry, and an area for storing cleaning products.

The Guest Bedroom has a queen-sized with a mattress of identical composition, purple sheets, and a frame made of Chert. The room is filled with shark memorabilia, including statuettes, paintings, and framed shark teeth. Rather bizarrely, there’s also a framed award for “Mousetrap car awards- 3rd place Distance (10 ft).” The other bathroom is fairly standard, with all the same features as the master bath. It is slightly smaller.

It the storage area, there are three rooms: The Treasury, Secondary Treasury, and the freezer. The Treasury contains a massive gold statue of Alzoru surrounded by pirate chests filled with gold, silver, platinum, and gemstones. The total value of this hoard is estimated at 45,000 gold. Also in the room are some suits of Bronze armor made for Alzoru by hir kobolds.

In the secondary treasury, Alzoru keeps a supply of various pastries, candies, and other sweets from all over Nafine, hir very own candy wonderland. From red chocolate pearls, to strawberry shortcakes, to triple-fudge cakes.

The Freezer is a place to store meat for cooking, or keep food from going bad. That’s it.

The final area contains a servant’s quarters, and a workshop. In the servant’s quarters, 1-20 Kobolds can comfortably live and sleep, though currently only 5 live here. These kobolds do various household chores, and one protects Alzoru’s treasures. The room contains 20 full size beds, 10 cabinets, 10 chests, and a large closet currently containing a set of bronze armor fitted for a kobold.

The Workshop is a great laboratory area where a kobold or Alzoru can separate fibers from plants, concoct potions, practice magic, make planks out of logs, or do most other creative tasks. The walls are lined with tools and equipment… even a few musical instruments. This has been the description if Alzoru’s main place of residence. Shi also has a vacation home in the jungles of Wyveli, but that’s another story.
