Greetings and salutations. Though my name may be Beatrix, as those of you with the unendingly-useful ability to read may have deduced, I much prefer being called by Barbaados. I suppose that a rose by any other name is still a rose, though, so ... eh, call me what you will, and you'll know if I don't like the name you choose to use. I hope to be fairly active, but should I suddenly dissapear into the depths of sweet oblivion for no apparent reason, that probably means I've been banished to that hellhole of an asylum yet again ... ugh .... how I hate psychiatrically trained professionals ....
.... And speaking of Berry Citrus Monkies, I can only hope to perhaps catch a glimpse of my dearest knight in shining armor soon ... I've been meaning to discuss a major pest problem that's caught my attention as of late ....

Now then, moving out of character ....
Feel free to call me what you will; I really wasn't kidding when I said I didn't care much; in fact, I love nicknames, so be as creative as you like. I discovered Paperdemon through a friend, and up until I joined recently, I've been a member of Deviantart. To be quite honest, so far, I think I'm going to like it here - possibly even better than there. =)
As for my art, I'm very much into comics. I used to be more of an anime fan, but for a little while now, I've been getting more into American-comics as well (Batman is a particular favorite of mine). Personally, I think I've begun to blend the two styles together in my art; but, it's up to you to form your own opinion. ^^ Most of my stuff is either sketched and then scanned into the computer to be colored in PSP XI (Paint Shop Pro XI) - and sometimes GIMP - or, sketched, inked, and colored in with Prismacolor art markers. I've also started experimenting with acrylics and painting. I would say that writing is my second love next to drawing, but they're really about equal. Unfortunately, I don't sit down and write as much as I used to anymore; but should I get back into the habbit, I'll no doubt start posting that stuff up on here.
All of that aside, I really do like meeting and talking to new people on sites - and don't worry, I'm not REALLY criminally insane ... criminally ... can't guarantee anything about the 'insane' part though ... ANYWAY. My point is, don't be afraid to drop me a line via PM - doesn't matter too much what it's about.
