    I want to know what is your favorite war game of all time or you can just state which one you think is the best. It can be an old school game. It can be a new age game. It can realistic or non realistic. Its your choice. It can be any type of game ranging form FPS, TPS, real time strategy, any of them. So i'll start this thing off. My favorite war game of all time is(some of you probably already know this from talking to me) Gears of War.....yes I said it thats my opinion.

    Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander (unofficial follow up for TA, i think) from strategy

    Doom 1 & 2 from FPS (Nowadays games aren't as good as Doom... and Doom 3 was a flop in my opinion)

    I like the Call of Duty games and the Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth games. My ultimate favs are the Halo/Halo 2 games

    I've always liked the Dynasty Warriors series they were awesome. And I don't think this counts but RE4 was a SWEET TPS game. I've beat it tons  of times and still can't get enough of it.

    I haven't played that many war games but I really like Doom and Quake. Heroes is another fave, hopefully I'll be able to play the new one soon.:yes:

    God I love the Age of Empires series! Sadly, I haven't played 3...
    But to get back on topic, Final Fantasy 7, Illusion of Gaia, Zelda Ocarina of Time, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2, and Dragon Quest VIII.
    Dynasty Warriors 5 is also a great game.
    Resident Evil 2. THE greatest zombie game EVER!
    And last but certainly not least, Star Wars Battlefront 2. It needs some work, but a great multiplayer game nonetheless.
    Red Alert 2 also ranks high on my list.
    Hell, I could go on and on and on...

    As much as I agree that these are great games, Final Fantasy 7, Illusion of Gaia, Zelda Ocarina of Time, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2, and Dragon Quest VIII. They arent really war games. Neither is RE4 or RE2 even though those are 2 of the best zombie games ever created.
