Trigger has had this bag with him since well before he looked into more extensive travels, though it's origins are humble. He needed a bag, he saw one he thought looked practical, he bought the bag and has carried it since. Although the reasons and origin were entirely mundane and practical, he has to admit, if only privately, that it's come to have sentimental value to him. While he has long since parted ways with some of the acquaintances of his younger years, the traces of them remain. Some of it is in the scribbles and doodles that cover the lining, though most of them have faded to near unread-ability. One does look like it may have once read 'Fluffy' though.
The faded blue gray canvas seems mostly clean, and in good repair. It has been subtly patched in one or two places around the seams, reinforced with sturdy carpet thread. The stitches are rough and ugly and clearly only intended with reinforcement in mind, and not beauty. There are pick marks in the canvas that indicate that over time it has been home to assorted pins and buttons, mostly lost or removed to make room for travel badges.
The logo on the button that keeps it snapped shut has almost been worn off by repeated touching. A few raised lines remain that indicate something was once there, a brand name probably, but it's almost gone. Watching Trigger run a thumb over it absently when he's distracted goes a long way to explaining why.
