In Time... Everyone Accepts...: In Time...

As I hold you in my arms,

I stop to wonder why.

Why the world is so cruel,

Why it makes me want to cry.

I feel as if I die,

Everyday more.

But I still live, I still hold you,

And it makes me seem torn.

And I am, in all truth,

I don't know what to think.

I listen to your words,

And yet I continue to sink.

 

I sink within my depths,

I sink into the ground.

The Earth and I become one,

For I am just a mound.

 

But your warmth, it reminds me,

It shows me all the truth.

That you are there beside me, sinking,

And it hurts to say that beloved "I love you."

 

You and I will one day cease,

No longer will we exist.

But now that I think about it,

Its ok, because in our hearts "we" does no exist..

 

It is only one being, whose soul

Was torn into two bodies.

Tigether we create a hill,

From just two little mounds.
