Brief biography: 

Tanith, once a baron to his home city, Crag Vaegan, was devistated when his new King turned from him, expelling them from the kingdom and left vulnerable to invasion from the Ambrosian army. Tanith faught with all he had, but they were a mining city with little defence after the monarch left. Surrendering the city to Octavia's rule, Tanith vowed to destroy the monarch, then tear Octavia to pieces the moment she finished serving her purpose.

Desperate to have a pawn in power, Tanith tries to manipulate Mordel to his ideals. He doesn't know what path his son will choose, but his own would be paved in blood. His or Octavia's, time would tell
