Brief biography:  One day in an orcish tribe a mysteries outsider appeared, carrying little but an infant child- Jorinda. The woman, apparently the girl's mother, seemed distressed but could not speak and passed away shortly after her arrival. The tribe adopted Jorinda and raised her as one of their own, however, some members were wary of her as it seemed the child had a connection to the spirits of the dead. As she grew, she developed an aptitude for magic that seemed ghostly in nature. 

Upon reaching adulthood, Jorinda made thr decision to leave the tribe and strike out on her own. Although it was basically her family, she felt she never quite belonged there. Since then she has been following the mysterious compass left to her by her mother (it is unclear where the compass points to at any given time but she believes it will take her eventually to where she needs to be) and taking on any odd jobs along the way to make her living.
