Brief biography: An orphan, Gloom does not remember his parent. His earliest memories are of his loathsome master, to whom he was a terrible student. Never able to master a single cantrip, the elf was expelled from his mentorship as an adolescent. His early years were spent as an Urchin on the streets of Neverwinter. Thievery became his livelihood, and amidst a botched robbery he became infected by a sliver of the demon lord Orcus. A curse which spread through his arm, turning it a leathery-red. Many blackouts later Gloom was chased from Neverwinter and set out on a years long adventure who's end saw him cutting a deal with Asmodeus. The devil offered to rid him of the curse, and in exchange Asmodeus would keep the arm. Some more years later, he's a potion-addicted adventurer who makes his living through mercenary work.
