  Background story  💀 

A mysterious traveler from a far away land, or he claims himself to be. The very moment that Virvalur entered the Paperverse, he arrived with severe amnesia, uncertain as of who he once was, neither who he really is. During the phases of exploration, however, he was quick to learn that nature had an influence on him as well as the other way around, a connection through elemental powers.

There was a voice, he could recall, that had spoken to him and explained him about the purposes of magic and its many mechanics, however, it remained vague and there was no time for questioning. Virvalur learned the hard way that he has the ability to draw from the life force of others. Animals and plants had died during his curious explorations.

Months of additional training enabled more specific application of these said powers. He gained additional methods to drain from the life force of one, and replenish what other would lack. This could take a form of life extension or recovery, however the strengths in which both are converted varies wildly. Not each type of life force is compatible with another, and while he could put it to better use through his elemental channels, a person of a different element could not. During the transference of energy, some of it tends to get lost in the progress. The process on its own can threaten his own life span once its usage is strained. If he'd transfer too much, there is a risk that he may die during it.

One can only grant life and health to one, when another has been sacrificed. This would result the elf to continuously seek for battle and put his life through various of dangers in order to heal another. It causes a constant strain which is visible in his attitude. Virvalur wishes for purpose, and with this being his only strength, he has no choice than to continue chasing enemies into combat.

He signed himself up as a member at the guild, but is frequently absent to hunt for that precious life energy, and put it to use during missions. He's often tired when he returns, easily irritated, and tends to "violently" apply his healing, which strength varies per type of person. It can vary from a slap to a poke, in which a person will rarely notice the impact, as the phase in which the pain is processed, the healing is already applied.

  Attitude toward cooperation and abilities 💀 

A loner by nature. Virvalur tends to have a temper, and his grumpy attitude is difficult to hide, regardless of the fact if he means well or not. While he may seem unapproachable and unavailable most of the time, he is likely to initiate conversation or approach others and is rarely intimidated. 

He may even seem arrogant or reckless by the way he carries himself and responds to certain (life threatening) situations. He is aggressive, playful and impatient, but has his much calmer moments as well.

A good comparison of his attitude would be when a person has worked overtime, but still pushes themselves through the next shift - in terms of energy and motivation. Virvalur struggles at taking breaks, and is frequently out of breath, going as far as to push on, even if his entire body is trembling of exhaustion. He will get off the ground, until he passes out from exhaustion. This also leads to tendencies such as falling asleep during meetings and mornings, while he's having breakfast. —That's the 5th mug he broke while falling asleep just to drink his tea!

While he may be able to avoid an attack or two, Virvalur is rather slow and clumsy at everything else. This easily results him to slip and fall down a good number of heights.

He is neither afraid to temporarily sacrifice some of his own life force to convert it to his own physical healing. This transference comes with a much weaker impact on his life span than it would be to transfer it to an external target.

In terms of combat, he places himself in between the support group and the front line, jumping back and forth in position to either collect energy through combat, or to heal those of priority. He doesn't have difficulty with any race, but he may favor some.
