Brief biography: the shifting sands flow as a ring of red energy grows and creates a portal. to a place that is very much similar to their own plane, Kahlid, the dust walker guardian of an old temple. long forgoten by all but their own kind, stands stalwart.

their job for as long as they have existed has been to guard this place, a place without priests. for they have all died. and without worshipers. for they have all forgotten the gods of this place. the temple sits, unhallowed and destroyed, but still its guardians keep ever vigil watch. this is Khalid place. they are not the first. nor will they be the last. but they are the same as they have always been. for even if the current guardian, themselves, should lead, a new guardian. born of their form wil arise. 

so now. as the guardian leaves their post. drawn by some power to the glowing red ring of sand , a new guardian takes their place. and Khalid is free to see what this opperatunity brings
