Brief Biography

"Soren Gardeker was born in the Quaint town of Capitalis. He has made great strides in the study of productivity, and produces many lecture series for training the Advocates of the Productive Way. Many, young and old, come from far and wide to hear him speak, hoping to reshape their lives for the better. He has gone on many advocacy trips to spread his ideals on productivity. Once a lecturer and a still-famous author in his homeworld, Utilitus, Soren traveled on book tours and as a traveling lecturer for the Productive Way. That is, until recently.

 Soren's dissapearance from the limelight has been suspected by many to be caused by early retirement, an understandable decision after his successes so far, but it wasn't so conventional. Soren actually got caught up in "family matters".

Soren's uncle, Joeseppe, was considered mad by many, mostly due to the futility of his many inventions, neither successful nor useful to society as they were (and no rightly minded man would continue such ventures in Utilitus). He did however leave his nephew with many odd trinkets after his own mysterious dissapearance, and Soren had the mind to clean up the family affairs. However, one thing fell into another, and Soren quite literally tripped over, falling right into his uncle's opened suitcase. But instead of a lumpy landing on some hard edges and canvas, he found himself falling further in. With a dizzy head, Soren opened his eyes to a tent-like room the same color as the suitcase, with all sorts of bobs and bits cluttered inside. After his initial astonishment, horror encroached as he saw no doors, ladders, latches, or flaps to get out. What he did see was an arrangement of clocks, watches, weights, handles, and beads hanging in all sorts of colors, times and arrangements above his head, no two clocks showing the same time. With panic seeping into his nerves, he tried yanking a pully down from above. It seemed to do the trick, for with a great force, it yanked back and flew towards the ceiling dragging him upwards by the force of his grip. He was no longer in that tiny cramped odd little room, but he was also no longer where he was originally. Soren was trapped in the paperverse with a magic warping suitcase, no manual, and a lack of enthusiasm.
