Also known as the "Angel of Death".  Her job is to collect the souls of those who must move off the mortal coil.  She does this either via scythe, or by the 'maw' on her torso.

Banshee was not 'born' through normal means - more like she just came into existence, much like the universe itself.  Being around for quite literally all time, she has seen many, many things, be it good or bad, brilliant or horrible.  Even while witnessing everything on the mortal plane, she tends not to interfere with mortal affairs - not until recently, anyway.

She may often have a furrowed brow, giving others the impression that she is disgruntled or mad, though this is hardly the case - that's just her natural facial expression.  She could be quite banterous sometimes!
