About : Hugo is very, very angry at everything and everyone, but mostly at himself. He wishes to be reunited with his mother, and thinks it's his fault they were separated in the first place. He wants to make up for not having been able to protect her in the past. He travels the multiverse looking for her, doing a few odd jobs here and there in exchange for food and shelter.
Hugo can be a little bit of a brat. In his opinion, most problems can be solved by breathing fire at them. When he feels like it, though, he can be very intelligent, methodical and well organized. He has a talent for tinkering and likes to take apart mechanisms to learn about them, although he rarely has the opportunity to.
He dreams of one day being able to fly. He is convinced wings will burst out of his back during puberty. His father had wings, no way he's not getting some as well ! (He will, in fact, never grow wings.)

His travels companions, who I will not be making ARPG profiles for (at least not in the near future) but who I'll probably draw accompanying Hugo :
- A weird feline, who was never given a proper name. She and Hugo have known each other pretty much since Hugo was a baby. Silène used to bribe her into watching over him. Hugo thinks of her as his pet, and she follows him everywhere.
- Zuliette, who has taken a liking to the kid after hearing about his mother, who she admires greatly. She decided to abandon her home and go out on an adventure with him, wishing to meet Silène one day.

Backstory : Hugo is Silène's son. He never knew his father, and his mom only had bad things to say about the man. His early childhood was okay, even tho he had to take care of his depressed mother from a young age.
At the age of 7, Hugo was separated from his mom. Both tried to escape their shitty living situation and regroup with some of Silène's friends, who happened to live on a spaceship. Hugo managed to escape, but Silène stayed behind (and almost died in the process).
Alas, the spaceship was not the paradise they were promised. Hugo really disliked most of his new caretakers, and missed his mom terribly. His sadness and frustration manifested as frequent bursts of anger, which made his new caretakers lose interest in him even more rapidly. 
From then on, he was raised by his feline companion, who had come to the spaceship with him, and Zuliette, who was a high-ranking official there. Both agreed to come with him when, at the age of 13, he decided to escape and go look for his mom.

Trivia :
- Hugo really liked Harry Potter and all things magic as a kid.
- His anatomy is based on a komodo dragon. Because you know. Land bound dragons. Haha. I'm cruel.
- Pls don't draw him interacting with Silène, unless in a flashback, for obvious reasons.
