---

Brief biography: Morga has spent her life in Barnacros, a small coastal town a few days' travel from the Sindryl capital city, Oasis. Growing up the daughter of a blacksmith (not a rarity considering the significant amount of weaponry that Duellin settlements tend to produce; blacksmiths are certainly not in short supply), Morga learned to forge steel at a young age, and the work built muscle as much as it built skill. Despite her emerging talent in smithing, Morga quit working the forge after she had a falling out with her father, as she'd expressed interest in developing her martial abilities, with the aspiration of becoming a mercenary.

Despite her father's warnings of the dangers of mercenary work, Morga decided to strike out on her own and pursue it anyway, and now lives on the other side of town, frequently accompanying caravans and other clients as protection, or going in with a troop of other fighters to clear out bandits and the like.

She and her father haven't spoken since.

---

Description: Morga is a Duellin, a bipedal race whose appearance lands somewhere between a shark and a pit bull. Duellin are stocky and have relatively thick yet smooth skin, similar to our modern cetaceans such as orca and other porpoises. Despite this comparison, Duellin have no tails or fins to speak of, though they do have strong, muscular arms and short legs, leaving their proportions top-heavy. This makes them very difficult to stagger or trip in battle.  Their heads are similarly blunt, with small, pointed ears angled backwards and large, broad mouths with two rows of teeth.

Due to the thick layer of blubber underneath their skin (which lacks nerve endings), deep cuts and wounds tend to permanently leave deep scarring. In Duellin culture, a special alloy of Torran metals is poured into these indentations, adhering to the skin permanently - without pain, although significantly deep scars that delve close to the underlying muscles may hurt - and leaving the scar/s coated in alloy, most often in gold, silver, or copper hues (though many alloys can be used).
