Left with a mountain of student debt and a worthless four-year ‘Mystical Studies’ degree from Shackram College, she... busted into a court wizard’s sanctum and ended up escaping through a portal box in their magical storeroom. 

Now technically on the run from both royal guard, the tax collectors, and the debt officers of her world, Susan is exploring the myriad realms the universe has to offer, learning true magic and artifice along the way.
