Brief biography: Charlotte has spent most of her life in the small fishing village where she was born. Suffering from debilitating sea sickness, she made herself useful doing any and all land-based odd jobs she could find. She loved working in the market the most. Little of note happened in the quiet village, so whenever a traveller or trader passed through, the villagers would repeat their tales for weeks, and Cha Cha wanted to hear these stories from the source. She dreamed of leaving the village and gathering her own exciting tales to bring back. To that end, she practiced swordplay in her spare time, though it was little more than waving a stick around at first. The adults chuckled when she would challenge older kids to play swordfights. They guffawed when she started winning. Perhaps one day, Charlotte will get the chance to test her skills against someone who actually knows what they're doing. For now, she's excited to begin her journey to new lands and experience this big, beautiful world first hand.

Description: Charlotte is 5'5, auburn hair barely long enough to be tied back in a ponytail (which it always is if she can help it) with piercing blue eyes that would be intimidating if her default expression was not a laid back smile. Her slim frame is easily mistaken as frail by anyone who overlooks well defined muscles. Girl is cut like a diamond and prefers to go sleeveless to showcase this fact. Her clothes are handmade and rustic, featuring brown trousers (rolled up to suit the weather), held up by a rope belt, and a sleeveless tunic, usually brown, green, or blue, though she does have a black tunic as well for special occasions, i.e. when she wants to look a little edgier. This rarely has the desired effect, but it makes her happy regardless. As for starting equipment, Charlotte's gear can generously be described as second rate hand-me-downs: a chipped short sword, a well worn shield, and a leather pauldron with with attached bandolier that she wears over her left shoulder. Replacing these items is high on her priority list.
