Personailty: A beast contained, now free. Phantom is an ancient entity, one whose legend has long since turned into a tale told at campfires to scare children.

She lives with a constant, burning pain inside of her, it’s been so long that she has become immune to its feeling. She does not have very complex motives; merely take control of those who will respect her power, and kill those who oppose. So what if, along the way, a few civilizations are destroyed? They were probably going to try and wipe her out anyway.

Phantom just wants to be left alone truthfully, left alone to create her ideal home, one with only loyalties to her. She doesn’t necessarily want to be worshiped, she just wants to be respected and left to her own devices. Of course, trying to get rid of most of the worlds life to benefit her own needs is seen as selfish and evil by many, so she is considered a top-tier threat by a lot of the peaceful cities, towns, and villages, as well as any wanderers with common sense.

She does have her worshipers, however. A strange cult has recently been gaining even more traction as the world grows more dangerous. Shadow creatures have been spotted lurking nearby certain cities and civilizations, presumably waiting for the time to strike. A few have even taken this chance, causing massive damage before being defeated. This cult has picked up on this pattern, trying to connect it to this great power they speak of, one that has the power to bring all Stryx back to their primal roots. This cult has gone through a handful of leaders, but has had many more members. Not all go on to stay with this cult, others have been exiled or executed for disloyalty or ambition for the throne. This cult will go to the most extreme lengths to grow their following and find this power, trying to harness it for themselves.

Phantom herself is generally cold-hearted. If there’s even a shred of compassion in her ghostly body, it’s like finding a single needle in a haystack the size of a field. She will not stop until her mission is accomplished.

Although, something else has awakened in a faraway place, sensing her presence. A battle may be imminent.
