Ooooo this is a fun creative idea for his talisman 
Its very interesting to see he can keep an eye on his energy levels and also how he gets around compared to Paiko who just falls though portals

Most of it was on-the-spot worldbuilding haha-- I realized Paiko's jump crystal is larger than Scap's, with a higher ability but less control... made up some stuff to reason through it and I guess it's canon now ^-^"
Energy level is important for Scap to keep tabs on! Scap has a curious magic-related version of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) - probably because he's supporting an extra... ah but that's more lore that I can't spoil yet
