Oh OHH - poor Nathaniel, first wings, now his beautiful horns... I now see why he is despondent and grumpy. He's been through a lot.
I read the previous chapters as well and the story is so engaging wow - love all the bits of lore coming out ^v^ Was this previously planned, or spontaneous development?

maybe he becomes humble at some point if this keeps up... maybe.
aafadgs thank you ;__; ♥ the hatchling part (her unfortunate demise, that is) has been there from nearly the beginning, but everything else around it came later. Elryss existed even before Nathaniel or the world he's from, so the shaman is a recycled guy that now has a purpose. i love it when pieces fall into place, gah.

Ooh, that's interesting! I definitely agree, there are few things more satisfying and rewarding in the creative process than discovering details now that fill up holes from earlier ^v^
