Airship Race - In Avangard

Kara watched with big eyes all those wonderful airships. She couldn't beliefe her eyes and decided: She wanted to take part in a race on her own!
So she made her way to a taveren and shoutet: "I am looking for strong warriors who will lent me a hand in the race!"
She found two adventures as brave or maybe as recless as she was and they decided to participate in one of the most dangerous races within the clouds.
Thanks to Ragnir's wind power the small crew was able to see even within the clouds, Tyrvalor patient and keen eye helped them to find every rock formation even the smalles stone, while Kara tried her best to steer their ship through the sky. She had a lot of practise on the water, but without her new friends she wouldn't have been able to survive this beautiful deadly adventure.

This is so damn cool! Looking at this drawing makes me feel like I'm about to witness a great adventure, it could easily be the titlescreen of a game ;//; The background is beautiful and I'm so happy that Kara is using a typical viking ship, really adds to the atmosphere. Very well done

I find it fascinating how much this looks like an historical painting, the gentle colors of the sky and that of the hill tops, like a divine mission of some sort. This is, of course, a race, but the elements within this illustration make their cause seem important. I like that!

May the winds blow in their favor! And thank you for including Tyrvalor in it! It's an honor!

  Thank you so much. I love playing with colors and painting some nature backgrounds. A listened a lot to some epic game/movie music while drawing this, maybe it had some influence XD
