Weekly Prompt #111: Rides

Eric is out on a ride with his horse Emerald, being a freaking menace in the whole town. He could ride his steed into battle with full tack and plate armour, but he most enjoys riding bareback and reign-free, relying only on the connection between himself and his four-legged partner.
